What is a Lost Pilgrim?
“The maps are inadequate. The real journey is imaginary.” – Joanna Kavenna
Storytelling is a Lost Pilgrim’s means of wayfinding. Lost Pilgrims find their stories through observing, collecting, making, connecting, and recording. Almost everyone is a Lost Pilgrim at some time or another.
Workshops are meant to aid Lost Pilgrims on their journey by helping them develop a sensitivity for the place in which they live, a better understanding of their neighbors, a sense of trust in their imagination, and the clemency to follow their most bizarre ideas and dreams.
Who’s Running this Show?
I’m a geographer who makes maps for my day job. Despite this, I’m often lost in thought, in dreams, and in life, which is where the inspiration for the name comes from.
